Volunteer: State Fair 2025 Cookie Kitchen Volunteer

Oliver Gospel is taking over the Cookie Kitchen at the South Carolina State Fair!

 

We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to join us as we team up with the State Fair to run the Cookie Kitchen! Volunteers will help bake, bag, and deliver cookies to customers. No experience? No problem! We’ll provide training for everything you will need to know once you arrive for your shift. We hope to see you there!

Eligibility:

Must be 15 years or older

Must be accompanied by an adult (21+) if under the age of 18 as noted in the SC State Fair Policies listed here

Where is the booth and where do I park?
The Cookie Kitchen is located inside the Rosewood Building near the Rocket. You will receive an email with details about where to park and how to get into the building prior to your shift.

What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable, modest clothing that allows you to move easily while maintaining a respectful appearance. We kindly ask that volunteers refrain from wearing sweatpants, spaghetti strap tops, low-cut tops or crop tops, short shorts or skirts, opened toe shoes, and headphones. If you have long hair, we also ask that you tie it back before handling any food.

What if I need to cancel my shift?
If you're unable to attend your shift, please notify us as soon as possible by emailing volunteer@olivergospel.org or calling 803.254.6470 ext. 1018.

Volunteers will assist staff members in greeting customers, making coffee drinks, and sharing the importance of our Mission. No experience? No problem! We’ll provide training for everything you will need to know once you arrive for your shift. We hope to see you there!
